The Front Elevation. The villas are designed in the style of an Algarvian Manor House by the noted UK architect George Ritchie who has lived in the Algarve for the past 18 years. His specialism is designing individual villas externally in the local idiom while internally allowing for a more contemporary approach.

View of side of Villa from Pool Area. The pool and terrace face toward the house which presents a blank gable to the pool. However the upper floor terrace faces out onto the pool and is sheltered by a very old Carob tree which was retained in the development.

There is a very pleasant private back garden area with 10 seater table and chairs for outdoor dining. The table is shaded by an electronic awning. The gas barbeque is beside the table. There is direct access to the pool from this area.

View from terrace at first floor level towards pool area and setting sun. The terrace has two sun loungers and two chairs and a table for sitting at to watch the sun set across the pool and behind the adjoining hillside.

View towards outdoor dining area from internal dining table. The recently planted bougainvillea will provide a riot of colour in the years ahead as they grow up the adjoining wall.

View of Lounge with U shaped sofa, fireplace, flat screen LCD HD ready TV with DVD and SKY free to air satellite system. The underfloor heating makes this a cosy space in winter. The two glass doors give easy access to the outdoor dining area in summer.

View of one side of Kitchen with Oven and Hobs with Rational units, granite worktop and AEG appliances. The kitchen is well stocked with modern cutlery, saucepans, toaster and kettle. There is ample storage and a large fridge. There is also a small circular breakfast table and two stools. The kitchen contains a fire extinguisher and fire blanket.

View of entrance to Adega Cova (wine cellar of the Cova family) Restaurent located just around the corner up on the Vale d`Eguas village main street. This restaurent run by Victor provides a broad range of good family fare at reasonable prices but also produces its own wine. Fortunately it is not necessary to drive home after this. Tables adjoining the large vats storing the wine create a great atmosphere. Unfortunately Health and Safety considerations led recently to the floor being made level thereby eliminating some of the quirkiness of this premises.

Just beyond Victor`s restaurant is O Malveira, a famous Mozambique restaurant which is very popular but less suited to children. It is renowned for its Prawns, curried and exotic dishes and home made produce including both red and white wine. Again there is no need to drive and such is not advisable if partaking of the house home made wine!
